

The DLC does contain sections which function as a prequel so you might think playing it first would work, or playing it in the middle would, but without the full story in mind some of the DLC bits won’t make sense, and there might be some spoilers in there.įor those that finished the game but never played the DLC In terms of the DLC, the answer is simple, you need to play it only after you finish the main game. Never played the game before and/or have not finished the gameįor those that have never had the absolute pleasure of playing TLOU before and for those that have, you are in for one hell of an experience. The DLC placement is dependent on whether you have finished the game or not so I will split it into two sections to explain.
